The Daily Stir
Happy National Margarita Day!!

Ok, I know we are all feeling the effects of Fat Tuesday… but did you know today is National Margarita Day? Does this also mean it is 5 o’clock all day??

We think you should celebrate, responsibly of course. ;)

Check out this recipe we are just dying to try:

Honeydew Rita
adapted from Cuisine at Home

Rub Glasses With; Coat In:
Lime Wedges
Kosher salt or sugar
Blend:
4 cups ice cubes
3 cups honeydew melon, peeled, seeded, cut into chunks
3/4 cup tequila
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1 drop of green food coloring (optional)
Garnish Margaritas With:
Honeydew spears
Sprigs of fresh mint

Rub the rims of 4-6 cocktail glasses with limes, then coat in salt or sugar (depending on your taste preference).  I like sugar, the Wild Boar likes salt.  Go figure.
Blend ice, melon, tequila, honey and lime juice in a blender until smooth.  Divide between prepared glasses.
Garnish with melon and mint sprigs.

Talk about deelish… now get yourself to Margaritaville, even if it is your office.

A Welcome Note

Thanks for stopping by! We’re glad you could make it.

If you are wondering what Quite a Stir is, well here’s the short of it. Established in 1981, Quite a Stir began as a gourmet take out shop, originally known as Take Me Home Catering. Folks were impressed and asked for more. We delivered. No… we actually started delivering, and much, much more! Today we are a full service, off-premise catering company offering exceptional menu and event planning services in the National Capital Region.

That being said, we will use this page to give you an inside, behind the scenes look at Quite a Stir! Stick around, we promise you’ll enjoy!
